About the occupants
Rohan is a warm and friendly man in his early 40’s, is looking for someone to share his spacious, light filled apartment. Rohan has an intellectual disability and some hearing loss, he has some regular support people to provide assistance with planning his week, his casual employment and keeping his space in order. Rohan enjoys basketball and ten pin bowling and loves to watch TV shows and movies such as Home & Away, Mash and Grease.
Compatible people
For the right person, the opportunity is to live with Rohan for a reduced amount ($250p/w), and role model what it means to be a good housemate. You will cook and share a meal together a couple of times a week and participate in a regular house meeting to ensure things are running smoothly. You will contribute to monthly bills and share the load of household chores.

We’re looking for someone who is kind, honest and mature minded. You will understand the ins and outs of living with someone and be patient in helping Rohan understand this too. You’re a non-smoker and will understand this is not a party house. You value clear communication and understand the necessity of clear speech when talking with Rohan. You are ethically aligned and understand the right for people with disabilities to have choice and control in their lives and live independently.
