Description of the home
A room is available in a 2 bedroom ground floor unit with a lounge area, seperate kitchen, 1 bathroom and balcony. The unit is in a block of 11, tenants here have friendly relationships with one another.
The room will come unfurnished. It includes a large built in wardrobe with mirrors and enough space for a bed, desk and drawers/bookshelf. The pictures of the room show it with a desk, set of drawers, chair and coffee table.
The unit has been recently renovated.
Parking permit available for on street parking, unlimited parking is available around the corner from the property (a minute walk away). Sydney Rd is a 2 minute walk away and the 19, 1 and 6 trams are very close. Train stations are a 10 minute walk away and busses are 5 minutes.
The unit is furnished except for the available room which will be empty.

I’m currently working full time as a social worker. I spend my evenings at home (recovering from the day with a silly or abstract tv show), at dinner or trivia with friends, seeing music or reading.
My weekends are pretty balanced between staying in cooking and cleaning, and heading out into the world to see friends or having a bev and a dance.
I appreciate independence in the home but do love a chat and watching a movie together. Ideally there would be a mutual respect around sleep/wake schedules and work schedules so that we can face each day feeling good :)
I live in a small block of units where all tenants are respectful of shared spaces and peace and quiet at night time. I keep the place clean and tidy, I’m quite house proud and would hope you are too!
I appreciate furniture and art and nice scents and plants and clothes.
Unfortunately this is not a space for pets. This is also not a space for bigots!
I think communication is so important when living with others and I’d love for us to be able to have a mature discussion around any issues or concerns, and hopefully a laugh afterwards.
