ROOM FOR RENT COBURG: $1260pm ($291pw)
As I say goodbye to my much loved housemate as she starts a new adventure in WA, I’m looking for someone to join my 2 bedroom Coburg home.
THE HOUSE:
It’s a bright and sunny home opposite a park with plenty of tree views out windows . The home has 2 bedrooms, 1 study, dishwasher, 1 newly renovated bathroom with bath (separate toilet), sun room, huge sunny backyard, garage, lemon tree and undercover off street parking. Short distance to plenty of bike paths, trams 11 & 58, Wollies, Coles and Coburg markets. 10 min walk to Sydney Rd and Moreland station.
THE ROOM:
The room available is large and bright, and gets natural sunlight through a large, east facing window. It has park views (see photos), plenty of space for a queen sized bed, desk and comes with a cupboard if you like. Rent is $1260pm ($290pw) and is available now.
ME:
I’m Mel, 34. When I’m not tending to the indoor plants or figuring out the right moisture level for my worm farm, I might be at the pub or eating cheese somewhere. I work from home in the not-for-profit sector. Most weekdays, I’m up early doing things to help myself wake up like cold baths or yoga in the lounge, and weeknights I’m a bit of a nanna and early to bed. Weekends can be a different story.
I have a 3 year old border colly x poodle who may be the best dog you will ever meet :) (but I'm biased). He’s well-trained but may occasionally demand cuddles.
YOU:
I’m ideally looking for someone who identifies as female, aged mid-20s to mid-40s—a like-minded, community-driven individual to share a creative and welcoming space with. We could share meals if schedules align, or not if they don’t. We could share the vision of the garden, or not if that’s not your thing.
While the house comes full of furniture, we have storage space in the garage and there’s room to move some things around. All your plants are welcome. No cats sorry.
If this sounds like your kind of home, please reach out and share a little about yourself.
