Cheap Coburg Sublet available - Oct 19th - 20th Dec $1,500.00
Hi there
I'm looking for someone to sublet my room whilst I'm away galivanting India & Nepal for 9 weeks.
Works out to be $167 per week all bills included!
The room - regularly smudged, incense burning on the reg with the mandala tapestries and fairy lights to match - it's a bit of a cliché I know - but if this is your kinda chill vibe, this might just be the place for you.
The room is nice & spacious, comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, drawers and cupboard which would all obviously be yours to use whilst I'm away.
The house - the house is on the older side, but we're blessed to have real estate agents and landlords who are attentive and have fixed all our complaints, so everything is in solid working order.
The house itself is large, with a spacious kitchen with all the trimmings you would need, living room and green & luscious front yard (which yes, is in need of a mow - we're working on that, plz don't judge!) which can be enjoyed from the front porch with a cuppa & a good book.
The house is clean & tidy, we all pitch in to a weekly cleaning schedule, which is pretty straight forward - works out to be about an hour of communal cleaning each per month.
There are two bathrooms - but only one toilet I should add - but we never seem to be waiting around for its use as we're all pretty speedy efficient bathroom users.
You'll be living with my awesome housemates Ben, Tiff & Wil - all in our early-mid thirties. We're all pretty busy with work & life so mainly keep to ourselves, however still happily hang out for a chat in the kitchen when our paths cross.
Although you'd be welcome to bring people over on occasion, it's important to note that as we all often start work early - this is a respectfully quiet home, and certainly not a party house, so we would please ask you to be mindful of this. We all really do most of our socialising outside of the home.
The location is absolutely brilliant - 7 min walk to either the 19 tram line or Batman Station, as well as being a 10 min walk to the super trendy Pentridge with a brewery, wine bar, cinema, etc. Or 10 min walk to Coburg central for supermarkets, markets, cafes, restaurants, library and an abundance of falafel joints (Half Moon Cafe is where it's at).
