Yes, you’ve found your perfect fully-adult share house, in a massive grand old home with huge bedrooms, modern kitchen and bathroom, a double garage, a big garden and lots of living areas.
Centralised heating and a fireplace. Just off Sydney Rd (3 min walk) on a tree-lined street at the south end of Coburg.

I've just signed a 12 month lease on this house, and am now looking for lovely people who would like to sign on and be part of a big, friendly, communicative share house. I'm dreaming of a respectful, supportive abode where we pool our personalities and furnishings. I love to share house! I look to cook for others, make big pots of tea, have crafty times, grow things and generally become a house family of sorts. I also like to disappear into my room or out on my own when I feel the call of solitude or roaming free. I'm good at unblocking drains, fixing shower screens, dishwashers, tap washers and those rental maintenance things that you may not want to bother a landlord or tradie for. I like walking (bush and city), bike riding, dress-ups, seeing bands and taking on origami projects that seem overwhelming at first but end in delight.

Here are some things about how I live and what I value, so that you can see if I sound like someone you'd like to live with:
- Clean, tidy, relatively uncluttery but not stressy about it
- Care about my home and garden
- Grow food when the space allows, separate rubbish, buy second hand
- Into living sustainably, conscious energy/water usage
- I like to have friends and family over sometimes for meals and hangs, and enjoy meeting my housemate's folk too
- Respect others need for rest and sleep
- Pro-active communication
- House energy typically peaceful
- Value self awareness and growth
- I work from home and have no problem on others doing the same - it's such a roomy place that noone will be on top of each other

And some things that I feel make for a successful and happy share home:
- Communal setup - home keeping, consensus based decision making (for me I do my own food but also love to share meals with others)
- Being good at (or striving to be) respectful and open communication, negotiation and compromise
- Transparency in house-related money matters

Admin things:
- 1 month bond and 1 month rent in advance
- You will need to be approved to go onto the lease - $120 fee for this (I hear this is not too bad in comparison!)
