Description of the home
Room for rent in Ferntree Gully.
I live in the home and own it (so I am the landlord, handy if anything needs fixing quick), but am pretty active when I am not at work. I work fulltime in office as a social worker so am not home during weekdays and do not work from home. I am fairly busy after work with my various hobbies (basketball Mon and Thurs, Karting once a month, baddy Wed and Sat, and gym most other days when I can).
My place is in Ferntree Gully behind the Tim Neville Arboretum, feel free to google it. There is a train station 12 mins walk from where I live (Ferntree Gully Train Station) and is literally 60 second drive to get there if desperate. The train line (Belgrave line) goes direct into the city which is super handy having a city direct train line only walking distance from home for those nights in the city.
My girlfriend is over a lot, so my housemate has to be comfortable having her over a lot. She is super chill and very cool.
Rent is $230 per week, with $500 bond (refundable on end of tenancy).
High speed NBN internet included in the price of rent.
Bills are split 50/50 with myself (or negotiated i.e if someone works from home more).
Happy for the new tenant to stay as short or as long as they want, no need for any locked in timeframes.
Bedroom and house is fully furnished as seen in images. However I can remove items in the bedroom if the tenant prefers should they have their own items.

Occupants Description
I like to be social on weekends mostly out of the home and only very occasionally at the home. I only rarely have friends over to my house just because I like to treat my home as my private sanctuary, this is not a party house.
I'm a strictly no drugs person, I don't welcome drugs into my home and would like my prospective housemate to be honest upfront about whether drugs are a current recreation for them. I do love a drink however and fine with that, although it's not often for me and only on weekends for friend gatherings or special events.
