Other information
The room is large, morning-light filled with built in robes. It fits a queen bed and other furniture easily and could probably fit a king in there if you were so inclined. There is also a smaller room (shared space) where I have a desk which you're welcome to use as an office/creative space too.

Home Description

Description of the home

The house is a beautiful one storey terrace (2 bedrooms, 1 bath + a shared study/creative working space/room) with two separate lounge areas, an outdoor deck and garden/veggie patch (bonus points for green thumbs!) with a sun soaked kitchen/dining/living area perfect for summer evenings and snuggling up with a book. We are super close to Edinburgh Gardens, a plethora of excellent cafes, Rushall train station, the 11 and 86 trams and many bike trails (to city, merri creek, inner circle rail trail).

There is plenty of permit free street parking too. Furniture wise, the house is mostly set up besides a few things the outgoing housemate is taking but always happy to to rearrange to accommodate a new roomie.

The house is definitely more of a dinner party house rather than a kick on/party house and looking to keep that vibe going.

About the occupants
You’ll be living with Jayde (she/her). In my mid 30s and work in impact storytelling, mostly in documentary film and also as workshop facilitator teaching storytelling. I love getting out of the city into the mountains or down to the beach whenever I can, playing board games, dinner parties, good conversations and watching movies. I'm vegetarian and like using sustainable products in the house.

I work from an office some days and WFH the others - we have a smaller room (shared space) where I have a desk which you're welcome to use as an office/creative space too.
Compatible people
Looking for someone preferably in their 30s, a working professional who is tidy, easy going, considerate and sustainably minded - someone who is looking for a home, not just a house. Ideally like to have a nice, calm and friendly vibe in the house and like hanging out for a meal/wine/movie but also respect each other's personal space. Sorry no couples.

We’re not a party house but do love a dinner party and a good hang and would like to keep this vibe going with the new housemate.

The rent is 1608pcm and you will need to go onto the lease. If this sounds like it might be you and you’d like to come see our humble abode, please DM me with a little bit about yourself!
