Home Description

Description of the home

I’m in a lovely, sunny two-bedroom apartment in Ivanhoe in a block of just 8 units (at least it’s sunny if the Melbourne sun decides to shine!). The living area is comfy and has quite a calm feel to it – great for coffee and reading a book on weekend mornings. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. I don’t have a TV, but the wifi reaches throughout the unit.

The room is furnished with a queen bed, drawers and open hanging space. If needed, I can also provide a small table. It has quite a private feel with a lovely big green tree just outside the window.

The apartment is conveniently located, just a 6-minute walk to Eaglemont station and 8 minutes to Ivanhoe station. A 30-minute walk will get you to the trails along the Yarra and there is a great little reserve down there. Parking is available on the street, no permit required.

Bills included in the rent (Wi-Fi, electricity, water).

If you’re interested in seeing the place or have any questions, feel free to get in touch.

About the occupants
I’m 44, friendly, easygoing, and recently returned to Australia after several years working in the humanitarian field. I’m now studying full-time and looking to move into the conservation space.
I’m clean and tidy without being overly fussy. I’m respectful of shared spaces and generally keep to myself but am always happy for a friendly chat. I enjoy spending time in nature, especially exploring nearby green spaces—there’s a lovely little reserve not too far away where I volunteer and often go birdwatching.
I’m looking for a flatmate who shares similar values and appreciates a peaceful and comfortable home. 😊
Compatible people
