Home Description

Description of the home

The apartment is a two-bedder with lounge/kitchen/dining all in one; shower and bath; and an awesome rooftop garden. It's small but has high studs and lots of small spaces, so it doesn't feel too cramped.

I'm on High Street, Thornbury and in the middle of all the cafes, bars and restaurants. I'm also super close to the Thornbury Picture House, Woolworths and Aldi at Preston South, and an easy walk to Psarakos (Greek supermarket) at Thornbury Village. A short train/bus trip up the road to Preston Market.

It's a five-minute walk to Thornbury train station and a two-minute walk to the 86 tram on High Street. There’s several buses nearby as well.
There’s car parking on the street but there are restrictions.

About the occupants
I predominantly live by myself but my girlfriend stays over once a week, and I stay at her place. She’s got kittens so they come too (they are ridiculously cute and litter trained).

I work in the publishing world and work from home a couple of days a week. I volunteer at RRR and work at Meredith/Golden Plains music festivals.

I'm in my early 50s and enjoy hanging out at home in the evening, or I go out to gigs or the movies.
I like to have friends over for drinks on the rooftop in the summer.

I'm an introvert-extrovert so I'll enjoy spending time with you, but also love hanging by myself. I love a lie in!

I'm friendly with the neighbours, and we work together to have a harmonious living space.

The flat is situated on a side street from High Street so it comes with some noise. Bar noise particularly on the weekend/public holiday nights. You’ll probably need earplugs some nights!

There are 30 bars/cafes/restaurants in a five-minute walk and an arthouse cinema. It’s awesome!
Compatible people
I'm looking for a kind, honest, social and open-minded woman, 40s up.
I need someone who's tidy, vege/pescatarian, knows how to use a coaster on the retro furniture and can clean up after themself. I'd prefer someone who's environmentally friendly and cares about their home environment.
Description of pets
My girlfriend has tonkinese kittens that stay over.
