The bathroom is shared with me (Daniele), and it's a spacious, fantastic space!

The bedroom is generously sized, easily fitting a queen-size bed and a desk, and boasts two windows that fill the room with natural light.

I’m a freelancer and musician, offering vocal lessons and kinesiology sessions in one of the living rooms. Additionally, I run programs with a music theatre non-profit, which occasionally holds rehearsals in one of the living areas.

Home Description

Description of the home

A large home, semi-detached, with beautiful hardwood floors and fairy lights throughout. Set on the top of a hill overlooking Kooyong Station, our house is has both the 16 and 58 trams at our doorstep. Air conditioning in each bedroom, high ceilings on both floors, plenty of storage space and other than the bedroom it's fully furnished (though we will have space in one of the loungerooms downstairs to fill). Street parking has no time limits, a park almost next door, and a short walk to supermarkets in almost all directions.

  • Air-conditioning

Bills and expenses

Bills are relatively inexpensive, and divided equally. We find we don't need to use heating or cooling too often due to the nature of the house.

About occupants
Two of us live here!

Daniele is both a piano playing music director and a kinesiologist, loving the hybrid that comes with working with the body while supporting expression. He's into meditation, yoga, and is an aspiring chef. He works from home teaching people how to use their voices to sing, and also starting a kinesiology business.

Sophie is a 26-year-old self-funded individual who recently made the move from the UK to Australia. She enjoys spending her time exploring the local scene, socialising with friends, or having quiet movie nights at home. With a strong passion for music, theatre, and art, Sophie embraces creativity in all its forms. She is friendly, clean, tidy, respectful, and considerate, making her a great housemate. Sophie is happy to share food or cook separately.
Compatible people
We've made this house our home, and would love someone to join us who is mindful of the many hats we wear. Honesty is the best policy in our house, and someone who doesn't mind a bit of noise (singing mostly) and is happy to go with the flow would be ideal.

We're looking for someone who is considerate and mindful of the additional activities we run outside of our day to day jobs.

Ideally someone who enjoys interaction but is not solely dependant on socialising with their housemates. Someone who is confident within themselves. Someone who is always seeking to learn and be curious.
