Home Description

Description of the home

The house is a mix of modern renovation where it counts (kitchen and bathroom) and a bit of 50s character elsewhere. HUGE backyard with fruit trees, garden beds to add to if you wish, shady front yard gives your room a tranquil view; laundry facilities, ducted floor heating throughout.
There is a possibility of your dog being approved if you have one (of course there must be a meet ‘n’ greet to see if they get along together).
House is mostly furnished, but there is some space if you have items other than bedroom furniture. The available bedroom currently fits a queen bed, desk, chair and TV but a double would give you a bit more room to move. The double built-in-robe fits a lot more than you would think. There is also a shed in the backyard if you need storage space.

Minutes walk away to two bus routes.
Werribee train station 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk.
Short walk and shorter drive to Werribee high street shops & supermarkets.
Werribee Plaza 7 minute drive.
Freeway entrance 5 minute drive.

About occupants
I’m a 43yo woman (widowed) on the DSP and intermittent jewellery making student. I am a pretty quiet, introverted person and am looking for someone similar or understanding- if you like having a lot of friends come around and/or loud music, we probably aren’t compatible- I prefer to keep my noisy-party side out of the house! Of course if you want to have a party-type kinda thing we can talk.
I am a night owl, I don’t make much noise but due to the layout of the house if you are a light sleeper there may be an adjustment period for us both.
Compatible people
Must be house broken/trained! Knowing how to share the cleaning of shared spaces and pitching in with house-related tasks is an important factor to me. If you prefer a tidy, relaxed home and are considerate of shared spaces and privacy, then this home may be a fit.

Communication and discussion when needed are key to this being a happy and chilled house! If either of us have a problem I’d much rather discuss it than leave post-it notes everywhere!
Child free home.
Description of pets
Must love dogs! My Labrador X boy Gryff loves people, other dogs, attention and treats. He is super friendly but can get a bit excitable sometimes, so part of living here will include the occasional burst of barking at something he thinks is important (usually during the day) but most of the time you won’t know he’s there. He chills with me in my room mostly, he may want to check out what’s happening around the house but he is very well behaved and will leave if told.
Sterling, my cat, is very quiet and shy of strangers.
