About occupants
I’m Amanda (41) and I work full time from the office in the city during usual business hours.
I’m social but quiet at home, I like being at home and pottering around.
I have a 12 year old dog that is very sweet, cuddly and needy. His comfort and happiness matters most to me.
I own the house and I understand that can shift the dynamic, but I treat my house like a home and I’m welcoming in a housemate. My most recent housemate moved out in Oct.
Compatible people
I’ve lived in share houses most of my adult life, I think respect, having boundaries for each others space/routines, and the mindset of the house as a ‘sanctuary’ that is shared makes a successful home environment.
Keeping the house tidy is really important (no dishes sitting in the sink, no mouldy food in the fridge etc).
Because I have the dog, I do the cleaning, but being tidy is important.
Description of pets
The dog is very sweet and calm. He has full reign of the house. Unless you love big dogs (he is about the size of a labrador) then this won’t be the house for you. His wellbeing is very important to me.
