Home Description

Description of the home

The house:

This unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You will be living with me and my girlfriend. We are in the master bedroom and have our own bathroom, and the third room is my office. The house is fully furnished. The current flatmate is moving out on Sept 10th. There is a ping pong table in the courtyard, but we are thinking of changing this to an outdoor sitting area. The house has a reverse cycle aircon in the living room. There is a main fridge and a bar fridge for plenty of space. There is 4 indoor drying clothes racks, and an outdoor one. There is a brand new clothing washing machine. The kitchen is very well stocked and has a dishwasher. Nothing in the house is broken and it is all very well taken care of. There are high ceilings, extra insulation, locks and flyscreens on all the windows. The electricity and plumbing are top notch and the water gets hot hot.

Parking:

There is street parking available and one bay in the driveway. The garage can fit 2 smaller cars. So we will take turns regarding who gets which bay. It is in our rental contract that we cannot park on the grass.

Location:

The unit is located a 7 min drive from Trigg beach, a 20 min walk to Stirling Train Station, a 5 min drive to Stirling Train Station, a 5 min drive to Karrinyup Shopping Centre, and a $17-25 Uber home from the city. There is an IGA a block away that is open until 8pm every day which is super useful.

About occupants
☀️ Julia
I am 32 years old, female, LGBT, and Canadian. I work as a Nutritionist and Personal Trainer. I am into cooking, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, the gym, hiking, camping, beach walks, snorkelling, house music and EDM. I spend my weekdays working and training and then my weekends out and about socialising, exploring, adventuring and having fun. I enjoy going out for a drink or two most weekends, and always down for deep and meaningful chats. I am friendly, outgoing, extroverted, bubbly, independent, and have travelled a fair amount. I have been in Australia since 2015. I am extremely organised and tidy, and pretty clean.

🪴 Alana (Julia’s partner/girlfriend, she/her)
I am 29, Australian, grew up down south, but have been living in Perth since 2020. I have a food and arts background and will be taking on further study in 2025. I have a big love of cooking, music, and arts. My downtime is usually spent reading, crafting, testing recipes, getting coffee with friends, and watching movies. I love getting outdoors, hiking and beaching. I tend to be more introverted and love my quiet time, but really enjoy having the whole house together for dinner or a drink every so often.
Compatible people
Our ideal candidate is very clean, a non-smoker, has lived with housemates before, and does not do drugs in the house. We are happy to have a roommate who wants to hang out sometimes or not. We are respectful of other people’s space and have had numerous housemates before. Looking for someone easy going and nice to live with, high emotional intelligence, common sense, and good conflict resolution skills 🤌
