Home Description

Description of the home

I've just signed onto this beautiful abode. I'm looking for a housemate to make the apartment a home. I get the keys the end of January. I'm in the process of collecting furniture for the communal areas, if you have any furniture you'd like to bring with you, you are very welcome.

The apartment is two bedrooms with 2 toilets and a separate bath shower. It has a large north facing balcony. 10 minute walk to Rockdale and Kogarah train stations, the City is 20 mins from there, 6 mins drive to Brighton le Sands (don't worry I'll drive you), walking distance to Kogarah and Rockdale Centres. It is an amazing multicultural area with lots of restaurants and pubs.

Home features

  • Ceiling fans

Bills and expenses

The bills will be divided between us. Not sure how much they will be at this point but I find they're usually the equivalent of $50 a week including internet, electricity, gas and cleaning products

About occupants
Hi,
I'm Kim. I'm in my 30s and work full time in a 9 to 5 job. I love to explore, try new things and meet new people. A typical week day for me is work; some kind of exercise dance, swim, gym; bit of shower singing; cook dinner; watch tv/chats with housemates. Some days I like to go to trivia, watch the footy or drinks etc. I usually get along really well with my housemates and develop a friendship, I'm definitely keen to continue this trend.
My favourite topics of conversation are travelling, bad first dates and bizarre fun facts about animals - they are strange beyond imagination, it's unnatural ;)
I don't get the keys until the end of January so I'd be keen to meet up for a drink to see how well we vibe.
Compatible people
Respect, balance and drama free is important to me. I generally find a chat can solve most issues which is why I'm looking for someone somewhat social. Someone with a similar schedule would be ideal but I'm flexible. I'm not particular about gender, I've had great housemates from both
