About occupants
I am the sole occupier of a large two bedroom, two-bathroom ultra-modern luxury penthouse that splits over two floors. I am a 39 year-old male of indian/pacific background living and working in Sydney (and in this unit) for over 15 years now. I am a well educated professional and hold a very good, permanent job in the public government sector. On weeknights I mostly follow a work-home routine and have quiet nights in and on the weekends I tend to go for drives or take a stroll down to the beach (5 mins walk). Currently I have a hybrid working arrangement where I work from home on some days of the week and on the other days I am out from 7am - 6pm. After work I normally stay indoors and have a glass of wine then have dinner before I hit the bed. I am very open minded, fun-loving and enjoy a great chat but at the same time respect the privacy and desire for a quite time of my flatmate.
Compatible people
Someone respectful, kind-hearted, friendly, intelligent and above all with a great sense of humour. A good regard for cleanliness is essential. Someone who is happy to socialise over a drink or two at the same time allowing each other their personal time and space. Apart from this, pretty easy going and flexible. I am quite close to my family who live in Sydney and at times I'm away visiting them on weekends and on my days off. Your family and friends are also very welcome in our home for drinks, dinners and stayovers.
Description of pets
I have two cats that I rescued from the local vet. They are siblings and while timid at first, come around for pats after they get comfortable. They are very self sufficient, don't need much looking after and 100% house trained and toilet trained. I let them out on the balcony and up on the private, plant-filled rooftop terrace that is only accessible from our floor and not for use by anyone not visiting me. They love humans!
