-Amazing kitchen with a large island, can easily spread out all ingredients for a cake and still have space to cook dinner!
- nice sunny lounge and balcony. Large enough to fit 20 people comfortably (tested through my recent bday party- and incidentally found out it's quite soundproof re other apartments).
-Outdoor balcony currently has a shisha, heater, and 3 planter boxes.
Building has great amenities

Kia ora! I'm Omar (28, he/him) and moved here end of last year from Aotearoa | NZ.
Work an office 8.30-5 supporting people with disability (absolutely love it) but keep quite busy with weekly social sports, auslan course, drag quiz.
More generally, thoroughly enjoy good cocktails, festivals / gigs (probably my most expensive hobby) bunch of walks / hikes, games (board or consoles - have a ps5 and switch, and building up the board game collection) and trash reality tv (selling sunset has a new season, but needing something else).
Am also learning guitar, so you'll get some poor renditions of songs but im pretty close to playing Push pretty recognisable 😎
Respectful, clean (in a 'will vaccuum twice a week kinda way'), often shirtless, bake a bit, and make home a comfortable place (i aspire to have Khloe Kardashian level organisational skills). I also aim to wake up early (5.30ish) to gym / read before work and meal prep for the week, justifying the weekend antics.
-fun to be around
-down for post mahi banter (but equally veg out on the couch with a drink and treat yourself snack on 'one of those days')
-appreciates lifes too short to not be doing things on weeknights (mean it in a wouldn't think twice about booking tickets to olivia rodrigo on a weds night, not in a hit the clubs then. For too old for that and like waking up early)
-☘️ friendly
-similar schedule would be a plus so I don't feel bad blending my smoothie at 7ish
-generally clean (i don't expect my potentially OCD traits, just not messy).
I'm not keen on having someone be a boarder / keep purely to themselves in their room - want someone to feel comfortable in the lounge / apartment generally and be a source of comfort rather than feeling some dreadngoing home.
Not in any rush for a flatmate - would rather live alone than not vibe.
Flatmate Preferences
- Non-smokers
- Outdoors okay
