Description of the home

Renting second bedroom in 2.5 bed in Coburg North near the merri. Rented privately, with ongoing secure lease. Welcome to short or long-term renters. Open to couples, the house is large enough for 3, but rent will be slightly higher. Bond is less than a months rent.

It's an older house, walking distance to public transport - 19 tram, Batman Station and buses.

Bills are included, internet is unlimited. I like to keep all the common areas tidy but you are welcome to use as you wish. Bathroom with shower and separate bathtub. Top loader in the outside laundry, hills hoist, and the kitchen is equipped with all the basics. There is a big telly in the lounge room with most of the streaming services which you are more than welcome to indulge in. There's a small room at the back where I have all my music gear - happy to share this space with anyone inclined.

House is furnished but it's pretty minimal at the moment. Theres a bed frame and bedside table in the room if needed. There is some storage available in the shed but would like to keep some space in there for working and ping pong. Backyard is a decent size with figs for shade, big enough to bbq and theres some basic gym equipment out there to use that you're free to use. There is lawn out front and back, would love someone willing to share mowing duties.

I live with my best mate Max, she is a deaf red heeler getting on in age so please take that into consideration when applying. I'm not expecting anyone to take on responsibility for her but just to be respectful and mindful of older dogs. She doesn't like cats and generally doesn't get along with other dogs, so unfortunately we can't have other pets.
