A ‘house-share plus’ opportunity…
An opportunity…
has arisen to join my warm, friendly household on the most neighbourly street in North Fitzroy! Over the last two years Alex and I have created a beautiful home together, but new opportunities beckon, and I am looking for a new housemate. For the right person the move-in date can be flexible, and the rent is negotiable depending on the contribution to the household, between $430-600 monthly.
The vibe of the house is a nice balance between relaxed and social. Shared meals are valued, with some social crossover at other times. I regularly host dinner parties and enjoy organising the odd neighbourhood street gathering. Another part of the household scene is the lovely women who support my busy life, supplying some of the skills I’m working towards. They hang out with me at home and out-and-about during the week; mostly during the day, but also some weeknights and Saturday nights.
The house…
Is on a quiet street between Nicholson Street and St Georges Road; peaceful but close to the action and the Merri Creek. It is a light-filled renovated Victorian terrace: spacious, plenty of storage, and with all mod cons. The garden would welcome a gardener but would also suit someone who just likes to enjoy seeing a little bit of green with their morning tea.
The room…
Is spacious and carpeted, with an ornamental fireplace and two built-in wardrobes. The floor length bedroom window doubles as a door to a mini courtyard that connects to the kitchen. It is currently under-utilised but has lots of potential for a gardening enthusiast.
