Home Description
Description of the home
The house has three decent-sized bedrooms with huge built-in-robes. I want to set the third bedroom up as a shared study/home office/spare room for guests/additional living space. Work-from-homers welcome, as long as we can share the space considerately.
Polished floorboards, nice natural light, open plan living room, dining and kitchen area, sunroom and laundry at the back of the house.
Bathroom has a (small) bath and separate shower, and the toilet is separate.
Ducted heating, aircon on the living room, dishwasher and large stove.
Good-sized secure front and back yards, huge secure garage for storage and possibly a workshop kind of set-up.
House will be furnished with the essential whitegoods, as well as my furniture but there will be room for yours if you have it.
One middle-aged dog will live here so open to another dog subject to their compatibility and your commitment to responsible pet ownership. No cats sorry.
Ten minute walk to Strathmore station, super close to some lovely green spaces along the creek. Off street parking for more one car (with occasional car tetris involved).

I love camping and being outdoors. I'm a keen scuba diver - I head down to the peninsula roughly every couple of weeks to dive (even in winter!). I also enjoy music festivals and live music, craft gin, and bingeing dark/dystopian/action/ drama tv shows. My toxic trait is that I'm a mad Collingwood supporter.
I'm a socially and politically aware lefty who passionately believes in collectivism and solidarity, and strive to use my privilege to be a good ally to LGBTIQ+, BIPOC and other marginalised communities. I try to live consciously to reflect these values, and to put back into the world more than I take from it.
- peaceful and calm
- clean and generally tidy (within reasonable limits, I know life isn’t always picture perfect)
- welcoming to guests without being a party house (well, maybe the odd party...) and
- shared with people who have similar values and who I can build friendships, have a laugh (Teddy is hilariously weird and entertaining), enjoy a meal or a beer, and co-exist positively and non-judgmentally with.
I’m not super fussed about age, it’s more important that we’re on the same page about the kind of home environment we want to live in and are committed to making it a safe and welcoming place for us all.
Definitely a safe and welcoming home for LGBTIQA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, lived-experience of mental health folks of all backgrounds.
‘Reduce, reuse, recycle’ is an important philosophy of mine - I’m a FB marketplace fiend and proper waste and recycling practices are non-negotiable.
