Come join me in my 2 bedroom house in Dulwich Hill. Fully furnished.
The bedroom available is large, quiet and cool. Dimensions are 3.34m L x 3m W x 2.77m H. This 1930s brick home has a great vibe with its impressive art deco ceilings and some stain glass windows scattered throughout. The whole house has wooden floors throughout. Kitchen comes with a large 5 burner Gas Oven. Dishwasher and washing machine. May get a dryer down the track if needed.
It's a ground level house with a few steps on entry, inclusive of kitchen and laundry and bathroom with bath/shower and separate toilet. Lovely secluded backyard. There is plenty of street parking, and occasionally we can share the off street parking depending on my workload. The location is nestled off the main roads, making it quiet and unpolluted. The bedrooms and living areas have reverse cycle Air conditioning (Hot and cold).
Woolworths is a 5 min drive to Canterbury or Ashfield. There is a small supermarket 10 mins walk away in Hurlstone Park. Train is same distance walk and plenty of buses on the main roads only minutes away.
I have most appliances, kitchen wear and cleaning equipment, which you are welcome to share using with me. The usual shared house awareness, initiative and communication would be greatly appreciated.
Downstairs laundry has Washer and Dryer and a decent clothes line.
The outdoor patio area with outdoor furniture, is quiet and peaceful and secluded. It's great for entertaining or just chilling in. I have a gas BBQ which you are welcome to use too.
Also, I seem to have acquired a few house plants. What can I say, they have been growing on me! ;)
Occasionally, if I'm away, I may ask a favour to water them, if possible. ;)
And I live with my cat called Neo. He’s incredibly awesome! Very friendly and hypoallergenic (friends with allergies have had no issues). He loves pats and scratches and head bunts! ;) Someone who is comfortable giving him love and some food when I'm away, is a big plus.

Bills and expenses
Gas, Electricity and water will be split evenly, every quarter. We can discuss whether we want a cleaner every few weeks or longer, but I'm also happy to keep the place clean ourselves. Have been doing this for a while. We can also discuss getting internet if needed? I generally just use my phones data, so it’s not a necessity for me right now.

I enjoy dinning out, or ordering take away, and cooking up a storm when I have the time. I do love going out to music events, festivals and comedy or whatever's entertaining. The occasional house party (dress ups optional), is definitely a possibility, but it's not a regular party house. You are most welcome to join in if I'm hosting a shindig. I like to invite friends over occasionally for dinner, drinks, games night or just watching movies. I am also very mindful and respectful of other peoples boundaries/needs and space. Communication is the key. I'm tolerant and patient and flexible, at the best of times. I do appreciate keeping a tidy house for both of us to enjoy, mainly in the communal areas. Your help with this shared equally would be appreciated.
Regarding cooking I’m very happy to occasionally share meals if thats something that interests you? But also happy to do our own thing. Whatever works for us. ;)
Ideally, I’m looking for another down to earth, easy going character to join me, in my home. I value honesty, kindness, humour, fairness, flexibility, respect and cleanliness. Somebody who is switched on and mindful, who is also respectful, would really tick a lot of boxes for the type of person I'd like to live with. If that resonates with you, then we will probably get on well. ;) It'd be great to find someone who is on a somewhat similar wavelength. But not a deal breaker.
