Home Description
Description of the home
Looking for a female flatmate (30-50 years old) for a fully furnished queen room for $475pw (inc bills), to share a sunny, modern, newly fully furnished, fully equipped two-bedroom apartment in Manly, with me (Kelly) and my Cavoodle (Maggie), so must love dogs. This is a wharf-side beachfront apartment, with a big balcony, looking onto stunning water views and breathtaking sunsets. With it's very own balcony bar to enjoy a drink from and watch the world go by. Photos do not do it justice.
Perfect location in Manly for everything, literally across the road from the wharf side beach. Situated at Manly cove end of the beach, with the swimming net in front and the Fairlight picturesque walk and cute cafe close by. Just close enough to "The Office" for sunset picnic drinks but far enough away from the noise. The Corso, Coles, buses and ferries are only a 2-5 min walk away. The ferry to CBD only takes 18mins, the best commute to work in the world.

If you are looking for a beautiful home, somewhere to relax, maybe a drink at the balcony bar, watching the sunset, then this is ideal. I'd really prefer a respectful flatmate who treats the home as a bit of an escape and sanctuary, rather than a social hub. I do most of my socialising outside of the home, and when I have a flatmate, I stick to the rules of no house guests or sleepovers, to respect and protect each other's space and privacy.
I like to keep my home very clean and tidy, all I ask is that you do the same and clean up after yourself in any shared areas and keep your personal belongings in your bedroom. I work 5 days per week in Marketing, in a hybrid role. So, would ideally prefer my flatmate to be in a job where they do not WFH or are flexible with their WFH days so we can work around each other.
I've always got on well with my flatmates over the years and stayed in touch with them as friends. Get in touch if you think this sounds suitable and that we would be compatible as housemates. :)
